Packing Peace

I wanted to share this Peace-Man/Pac-Man game that Americans for Peace Now have put out for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. Happy new year to those of you celebrating it, and Ramadan Kareem for those of you observing Ramadan.

That's all fine. What, however, do you think about Obadiah Shoher's criticism pf Rosh Hashanah as aholiday that has nothing to do with New Year? Here, for example http://samsonblinded.org/blog/petty-paganism.htm

I find it telling that Yom Kippur gets so many mentions in the press versus Ramadan. The numbers of Jews and Muslims in this country are equal if not favoring Muslims yet we see where our bias lay. Further, when one considers our engagement in Muslim lands, the announcement of Ramamdan arguably is more newsworthy than Yom Kippur.

The press and the people are historically behind the times. This should be evidence that the protests of overly "politically correct" media is simply a lie.

A Happy New Year to you too! And thank you for your insights and for your humanity!
